Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Vybe is a brand registered and operated in India. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Vybe. Contact us at vybeappclub@gmail.com.

2. Eligibility

• You must be 18 years of age or older to use Vybe.
• By creating an account you confirm that you are at least 18.
• If you are using Vybe on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
• Vybe is currently available for use in India only.

3. Account rules

• One account per person. No fake, duplicate, or bot accounts.
• Your display name and profile must represent your real identity.
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential. Do not share your account.
• You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account.
• You must promptly notify us at vybeappclub@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. What you can do on Vybe

• Discover and join activities posted by other users near you.
• Create and host activities for others to join.
• Connect and chat with people through activity-based conversations.
• Earn and use Vybe Coins as described in the app.
• Share photos and short clips from activities you've attended.

5. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, or harm any other user.
• Post misleading, fraudulent, illegal, or dangerous activities.
• Use Vybe for commercial spam, unsolicited advertising, or MLM schemes.
• Attempt to manipulate trust scores, ratings, or coin balances.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or exploit the platform or its APIs.
• Upload malware, viruses, or any harmful code.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Violate any applicable Indian law or regulation.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban, at our sole discretion. We cooperate with law enforcement where required by law.

6. Vybe Coins

• Vybe Coins are an in-app virtual currency with no real-world monetary value.
• Coins are earned through activity on the platform (hosting, attending, streaks, referrals).
• Coins cannot be transferred between accounts, sold, or redeemed for cash.
• We reserve the right to modify, limit, or terminate the Coins system at any time without notice.
• Unused Coins are forfeited when an account is deleted.

7. Content you post

• You retain ownership of content you post (photos, activity descriptions, clips).
• By posting, you grant Vybe a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content within Vybe for the purpose of operating the service.
• You are solely responsible for the content you post. Do not post content you do not have the right to share.
• We may remove any content that violates these Terms or our community guidelines, without notice.

8. External event listings

Vybe may display publicly listed events from third-party platforms (Playo, Insider.in, Meetup.com, Luma, and others) as discovery cards. These listings are provided for informational purposes only. Vybe does not organise, endorse, or take any responsibility for third-party events. Attendance at any event is at your own risk.

9. Safety

• Vybe is a tool to discover activities — we are not responsible for the conduct of users at events or in person.
• Always use good judgment. Meet in public places for first-time meetups.
• Use the in-app Report and SOS features if you encounter unsafe behaviour.
• We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from activities arranged through the platform.

10. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete Account.
• We may suspend or permanently delete your account for violations of these Terms, without prior notice.
• Upon termination, your right to use Vybe immediately ceases and your Coins are forfeited.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

Vybe is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Vybe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity — arising out of or in connection with your use of Vybe, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed ₹5,000 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim, whichever is greater.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via push notification or in-app banner at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of Vybe after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
